Increased Off-Highway Performance (KAF400RSFNN/KAF400TSFNN)

• With larger wheels and tires than the MULE SX 4x4, the XC can better overcome obstacles and traverse rough terrain.  The larger wheels and tires also result in a wider track.  While the track is larger, the body size remains unchanged so it can still be transported in the back of a full-sized pick-up truck.
• Higher Ground Clearance - As another by-product of the larger 26" tires, ground clearance is also increased.
• More than just a MULE SX 4x4 with big wheels, the XC also fe4atures model specific gearing and CVT changed designed to enhance the XC's off-highway capabilities
• Model-specific brake pedal lever ratio, brake master cylinder mount and brake shoes for superb brake performance.

Engine

Easy Starting (KAF400JPFNN)

• Choke opens throttle during starting so accelerator pedal does not need to be depressed.
• Can be started in gear when the brake pedal is applied.

Fuel Injections (KAF400PPFNN/KAF400RPFNN/KAF400TPFFNN/KAF400YPFNN)

• The fuel injection system monitors coolant temperature, air intake temperature, throttle position, air intake pressure, vehicle speed and crankshaft angle and automatically meters the ideal amount of fuel for extremely responsive power delivery - regardless of the conditions.  The system automatically adjusts for changes in altitude, idle adjustments are unnecessary, and starting is hassle-free.
• Fuel delivery is instantaneous through the 23mm throttle body, contributing to predictable throttle response for effortless control.

Gear Driven Engine Balancer

• Rotating balancer weight cuts vibration dramatically.

Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
