The liquid-cooled 443 cc single-cylinder engine is powerful yet has a mild, easy-to-use character, further enhanced by the automatic CVT transmission that provides smooth, positive transition through the rev range.

• All-aluminum cylinder has an electrofusion-coated bore that resists wear and provides excellent heat dispersion.
• Air intake is located high under the handlebar cover to prevent water and mud from reaching the airbox in wet conditions.
• Fuel injection system with 38mm throttle body contributes to the smooth power delivery and helps provide easy starting.
• Automatic CVT transmission with Low, Hight, Neutral and Reverse, plus a centrifugal clutch, provides smooth acceleration and allows engine braking when descending slopes for additional rider assurance.

Independent Suspension

• Four-wheel independent suspension allows the wheels to navigate the terrain with minimal disturbance to the chassis for a more comfortable rider.

Brakes, Wheels & Tires

• Hydraulic brake system has 202mm discs at the front wheels and a 202mm disc at the left rear wheel for strong brake performance with excellent feel and controllability.
• Brake master cylinders, calipers, discs and pads are designed to work together to provide a linear feel and progressive braking power.
• Right hand lever activates the front brakes while the rear can be activated by either using the left hand lever or the brake pedal at the fright footpeg.
• Aggressive tires provide excellent traction and pump absorption for all-around performance on the job or trail.

Ergonomics

• Despite its large, aggressive appearance, the engine layout and fuel tank design provide an upright, natural riding position.

• Consistent with the flagship BRUTE FORCE 750 ATV, the BRUTE FORCE 450 has big bodywork with flowing lines that tend to have a forward slant for an aggressive, dynamic look and feel.
• Colored grille cover and colored parts surrounding the headlights contribute to the stylish, aggressive image.
• The front bumper has a condensed shape and is positioned slightly high to help provide a massive overall impression while giving the front end a sense of lightness.
• LED headlights are bright and help enhance the Kawasaki BRUTE FORCE identity.  They are framed by black plastic parts for a compact image that complements the aggressive-looking front end.

Handlebar-Mounted LED Light

• Handlebar-mounted LED light provides additional illumination for night riding and since it turns with the handlebar it helps ensure light is pointing in the direction the rider intends to go.
• If an accessory snowplow is mounted to the BRUTE FORCE 450 the handlebar-mounted light ensures that light is not obscured by the plow of snow.
• Works only when the headlight high beams are activated.

Digital Instrumentation

• Back-lit LCD multifunction instrument panel contains speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, clock, odometer, hour meter, trip meter, Differential Lock/4WD indicator, and several indicator lights.
